Story Squad creative writing and storytelling incursions are aligned to the English Curriculum and support the development of Key Learning Areas and student wellbeing across primary years.
English Curriculum
Our workshops support students to:
Create imaginative, persuasive and informative texts
Understand and apply text structure and language features
Develop oral language through discussion, storytelling and presentation
Plan, draft and refine written texts
Expand vocabulary and expressive language
Create and respond to texts for different audiences and purposes
Achieve Literacy outcomes including speaking, listening, reading, writing and presenting

Story Squad programs explicitly support:
